Working With Schools
Working with schools to build character and develop life skills through learning martial arts.
Below are a few testimonials from the students and teachers at some of schools we have done a course at.

The academy aims to develop lifelong partnerships between itself and its students. This involves the continual improvement of the academy’s programmes and facilities and the development of students’ life skills through martial arts.
Part of the improvement process to which the academy has committed itself, is the development of outreach courses for schools. They are based on the academy’s successful programmes that have run for 10 years. We have named them “The Warrior Scholar” courses. They are tailored to specific schools needs and based on once a week sessions covering a 6 week period. All specialist equipment will be provided by the academy but we would require schools to provide suitable floor mats in the P.E hall.
The coaching staff, who are highly qualified and CRB checked, will continually show, through example and leadership, the inherent human values of martial arts, namely respect of self and others, perseverance, discipline, honesty, integrity and right thinking . The students have the opportunity to practice and uphold these values through example and leadership roles within the course. Our experience and customer feedback through regular survey’s has shown us that students undertaking this type of programme begin to appreciate the underlying reasons as to why these values are so important to the martial artist, and adopt them within their own lives.
The sessions are designed to teach body awareness, quality of movement, and personal and social development through martial arts. They emphasise activities that have high-energy outputs yet are both fun and enjoyable. They include large elements of individual and partner work, as well as group activities. These personal development and physical achievements are reinforced by merit badges throughout the course, and certificate of achievement and graded belt on successful completion.
